The goal of the AAC research and consultation center is to contribute to, to apply and to spread knowledge from the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Therefore the AAC research and consultation center offers/conducts
- AAC assessment & consultation in the Consultation Center,
- Professional Development like an advanced certificate program AAC (LUK or Lehrgang Unterstützte Kommunikation, an extra-occupational two-and-a-half-year program on a wide range of AAC related topics), full day courses and other lectures,
- Research to help develop the field of AAC further. We conduct research projects and transfer our findings i.e. from language use research on specially designed communication boards with core and fringe vocabulary. For more information please see Research and Development.
